These terms cover the Yearwright promotional website, Founder V1 pre-purchases, and Founder account access provided by Electron Solutions LLC.

1. Merchant and product
Electron Solutions LLC publishes and sells Yearwright. The Yearwright Founder V1 Pre-Purchase costs $9.99 USD as a single payment. It includes a permanent entitlement to the commercial V1 release when available, plus Founder designation for as long as that entitlement remains active.
2. Development status
Yearwright is still in development. “Targeting October 1, 2026.” states a goal, not a guaranteed release date. Features, interfaces, scope, system requirements, performance, and timing may change, and development may be delayed or permanently cancelled. This site is promotional and does not provide the commercial game client or immediate access to a build.
3. What the purchase is not
This is not a subscription, recurring charge, payment plan, donation, or deposit that requires another mandatory payment. It does not buy virtual currency, land, political rights or office, a government role, or any economic or gameplay advantage. It also does not guarantee early access, every future expansion, other products from Electron Solutions LLC, a particular player population or uptime level, or any game outcome.
4. Eligibility and territory
To purchase, you must be at least 18, legally able to enter a binding contract, and have both your primary residence and a supported billing address in the 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia. U.S. territories, overseas military address formats, and all other countries are excluded from the initial sales program. We may decline, cancel, or refund a transaction that does not pass eligibility, payment, fraud-prevention, or legal checks.
5. Price and tax
The Founder price is currently $9.99 USD as a single payment and may increase as development progresses. The expected standard price for V1 is currently $29.99, although future pricing and packaging may change. Any applicable tax will be shown before payment.
6. Early access
We may offer playable pre-release builds as development allows. Early access is discretionary, has no committed date, is not guaranteed, and is not sold as a separate product.
7. Refunds and cancellation
The Refund Policy explains how to request a voluntary refund within 30 calendar days, along with how material delays and permanent cancellation are handled. It forms part of these terms. Nothing in either policy limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
8. Accounts
Founder accounts use secure email sign-in links instead of passwords. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure and promptly telling us about suspected unauthorized access. We may expire or revoke links and sessions for security, abuse prevention, refunds, or legal compliance.
9. Acceptable use
Do not attack, probe, abusively scrape, disrupt, or try to gain unauthorized access to this website or any account, checkout, administrative, or data system connected to it. Do not use the service to impersonate anyone. We may limit access when reasonably necessary to protect customers or the service.
10. Experimental simulation disclaimer
Yearwright is entertainment: an experimental historical and environmental simulation. Do not rely on it for wildfire prediction, evacuation, suppression, emergency management, surveying, investment, legal advice, or government functions.
11. No government affiliation
Yearwright is independently published and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Marin County, the State of California, any municipality or agency, any historical institution, or any Indigenous government. Place names are used for factual reference only.
12. Changes and contact
